Allison is an ABO-certified optician and our optical board manager. She has over 30 years of optical experience, making her extremely knowledgeable about the latest lens technologies, frame selection, adjustments and repair. Her passion is to help our clients choose the best possible eyewear options for their optical and lifestyle needs.
Originally from Massachusetts, Allison moved to San Francisco after graduating from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her art background has definitely enhanced her career as an optician, as she is adept at helping people make the perfect aesthetic decisions when it comes to choosing the right frame and lenses for each client. In her spare time, Allison loves hiking, bird watching and just enjoying nature in general. She also loves travel, nature photography and wine tasting. She and her husband moved to Portland in 2015 and both enjoy the variety of local restaurants and art culture Portland has to offer.
